**COVID-19 Important Information**

Hamara Centre is currently closed to protect our community and our staff. However we are still able to provide support to those who need it.

Leeds City Council have a Coronavirus Help Line. You can call them on 0113 3781877 and they will match you with a local volunteer who can provide assistance. to you.

If you would like to become a volunteer, please visit doinggoodleeds.org.uk, email info@val.org.uk, or call 0113 2977920. Once signed-up volunteers will receive training, and then be matched with opportunities to help locally.

Please take a look at the most recent advice on the NHS website about how to keep yourself and others safe: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/.

Follow our Twitter https://twitter.com/HamaraCentre and Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100011910905386 for updates on the situation and what we will be doing to aid the community during it.

What Is The

Hamara Centre?

From its humble beginnings in a small office with 2 part time staff working solely on one project (Elders Project), Hamara has grown to be the largest ethnic minority organisation in the voluntary and community sector in Leeds.

Based in a purpose developed £1.2 million centre in Beeston, Hamara stands out as a beacon within the community and voluntary sector and its success has inspired many other organisations to emulate its achievements.
